From building a garage to repairing buildings growing up on the farm, Matt Heuton has always been passionate about construction. It became his career in 1998, when he began building homes at Lake Panorama, getting involved in everything from framing and roofing to siding and concrete work. In 2001, Matt and his wife, Shelly, moved to Des Moines to expand the home-building and framing business under GM Construction. The following year they ventured together with his sister and brother-in-law creating Plummer Homes.
Craig Plummer is CFO at a local construction company and holds an MBA in finance from the University of Iowa. He has served as President and board member for the Iowa Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association. Wife Joey has an accounting degree, which comes in handy when helping homeowners stay within their budgets. She and Shelly also enjoy helping homeowners with design choices and product selection.
