This comfortable open floor plan glows with warmth and charm in the kitchen which has multiple features to enhance function ability and still maintain style. Integrated into the area are a hearth room, sunroom, office, and pantry and mud room. Each has their own unique purpose but all are blended together around the center island and kitchen making function a complete design with style and aesthetics.

Tom has been in the construction business since 1986 and founded TS Construction, Inc. in 1989 as a framing contractor. Tom became a homebuilder in 1998 with the philosophy that quality is always the number one priority in building a home. If you look through a TS Construction, Inc. home, you can see craftsmanship and details throughout which include beautiful trim work, multi level ceilings, beautiful windows, flooring, plumbing, electrical fixtures, cabinets, countertops, etc. Tom works with the homeowner to build the home they want, the home of their dreams, and most of all, a house that the owner is proud to call home.
Tom Stevens was recognized as the 2004 and 2003 Builder of the Year and has won numerous awards in prior HomeShowExpo’s including the Peoples Choice Award in 2007, 2003 and 2001. Over the years, his homes have won Best Curb Appeal, Best Overall Kitchen, Best Recreation Room, Best Layout and Livability Award, Favorite Overall Home Award, along with named 2001 Parade of Homes “American Dream Award.” Tom’s homes have also had national exposure with his home featured on HGTV’s National Open House show in 2006.
The cabinetry of traditional style is fabricated in cherry and finished with a black glaze and is complimented by an espresso colored range hood which matches the center island cabinetry and the elevated and angled bar. Of course, all are topped with Giallo West granite in warm golden earth tones. Above the cabinets are windows which add a design element and still allow light to stream in, and yet compliment the bank of windows that encompass the breakfast area. Also, tucks just off the kitchen area the office, pantry and mud room; all are close and convenient but yet just private enough. Across from the center island and bar is the hearth room which features ceiling to floor cabinetry on both sides and a fireplace with a visibility feature allowing vision through itself to the adjoining Great Room.
This area is dominated by a towering stack of windows and the see-through fireplace which was designed with a strait lined simplified mantle and surround which is highlighted with Peruvian limestone and topped with a tall layered are niche.
The whole room is open to the foyer and dining area which has a spectacular raised sculpted diamond design in the ceiling as a unique architectural feature.
In an authentic style the open stairway was moved from the front or center of the home to the rear which allows a more open feeling to the floor plan. It features a cat walk with wooded hand rail and iron ballistics.
The sleeping area for the children is far removed from the noise and fun in the upper level just down from the cat walk. Ideal, 3 bedrooms complete with their own bath facilities are designed for kid friendly function, privacy and fun.
Just adjacent to the Great Room is the master bedroom which is accessed through double doors flanked with wood columns. This room features a unique recessed, coffered ceiling that is enhanced by a raised or suspended outline accent. Adjoining this area is the master bath which was designed to feature a sunken shower enclosed with frameless glass doors. A thoughtful highlight to the cherry vanities is an attached coffee bar for convenience, and of course T.V. is available for all.
Descending to the lower level, one will immediately realize that this space will be the energy source of the home. Again, a stone fireplace that allows vision to the interior patio dominates the family room. Adjacent to it is a wall of built-ins for the big screen T.V., video equipment, and all of the electronics. Note that the back of the built-ins is a shelving unit for all your photos and collectibles. Of course the area has more room for a pool table, air hockey, gaming table or whatever one desires. Naturally, no family fun area is complete without a bar for food and refreshments. This bar features black oak cabinets and an adjoining wine room which was completed with black oak wine racks and wine barrel flooring.
Separately, a huge room is adjacent to function as a “Wii” room, home theater, exercise room or what ever the home owner desires. They could mix it up since across the home is another room suitable for a play room, bedroom, exercise room or whatever as this home grows with the families needs.
